Occasional Prayers

We remember before thee, O God, those who bear rule among us in Church and State, in industry and commerce; all who speak to men through broadcasting and the press; and all who have power over the lives of others. Grant them the humility to seek thy guidance, and the courage to do thy will, so that our people may be led to the knowledge of thee and to the service of thy kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
