O God, the Lord of men and nations, we remember before thee our Queen and all in authority under her who share the responsibility of government. Give them wisdom and insight, courage and high resolve, that truth and justice may inspire their counsels and govern their decisions, to the glory of thy name; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
