Occasional Prayers

O Father of men, who hast promised that all the kingdoms of this world are to become the kingdom of thy Son: Purge the nations of error and corruption; overthrow the power of sin, and establish the kingdom of grace in every land. Incline the hearts of rulers and peoples to open their gates to the King of glory. May he enter into their cities, churches, and homes, to dwell there, and govern all things by his word and spirit. So may justice, mercy, and peace prevail among the nations and thy name be glorified; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
