Occasional Prayers

O Master Workman, who in the carpenter’s shop at Nazareth spent thy days from youth to manhood in making and mending things: We thank thee that thou hast ever sanctified all labour by thyself making it an offering of service in thy Father’s world. Increase in us the spirit of service, of joy in work well done, of loyalty and devotion, so that with all our strength we may do the tasks that fall to our share, for thy sake who did all things well, Jesus Christ our Lord.
