Occasional Prayers

O God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give unto us, we pray thee, the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. Enlighten the eyes of our understanding, that we may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what the exceeding greatness of his power towards us who believe; according to the working of thy mighty power who raised him from the dead to set him at thine own right hand in heavenly places; to whom be glory and dominion for ever and ever.
