Occasional Prayers

O God of the spirits of all flesh, we praise and magnify thy holy name for thy saints and martyrs of every age, for the whole multitude of the redeemed, and for all thy servants dear to us, who, having finished their course, have entered into the joy of thy heavenly presence . . .; and we beseech thee that we, being encouraged by their example and strengthened by their fellowship, may in the end have part with them in the inheritance of the saints in light; through the merits of thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
